Woo – Enable the Classic Checkout instead of the Block Checkout

To enable classic checkout in WooCommerce, navigate to your Checkout page in the WordPress dashboard, select the checkout block, click the three-dots menu (or the “Transform” option), and choose to “Classic Shortcode” or insert the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode to replace the block. Then, save your changes to apply the classic checkout experience. 

Steps to Switch to Classic Checkout

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
2. Go to Pages > All Pages.
3. Find and click on your Checkout page in the list to edit it.
4. Identify the Checkout block on the page.
5. Click on the Checkout block to open its toolbar.
6. Click the three-dots icon (or the “Transform” button) in the block’s toolbar.
7. From the dropdown menu, select “Classic Shortcode” or insert the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode.
8. Click the “Update” or “Save” button to save your changes. 

Important Notes

• Theme compatibility:If you are using a block theme, you can use the “Appearance” > “Editor” option to access your pages and blocks. 
• Cart page:You may need to perform the same process for your Cart page if you wish to use the classic cart experience as well. 
• Plugin compatibility:The block-based checkout is a newer technology, and some plugins may require you to revert to the classic shortcode to function correctly.
